5.2. Late Cancellation Fee
Cancellations made less than two (2) hours prior to the scheduled appointment are subject to a cancellation fee equal to eight percent (8%) of the total booking amount. This fee will be deducted from the deposit already paid or, if no deposit exists, from the total payment made for the service.
5.3. Cancellation Policy
Clients enrolled in monthly recurring cleaning services are subject to the same cancellation and refund rules as one-time bookings. Missed or late cancellations for recurring services will be billed in accordance with these terms, and the cancellation fee will be automatically charged through the client’s designated payment method.

Island Dream Clean is not liable for damage to unsecured fragile items or for the loss of valuables that were not properly secured by the client.

Clients must notify Island Dream Clean in advance of any special cleaning requirements, such as stain removal, delicate surfaces, or unusual cleaning requests. Clients are also required to disclose the presence of hazardous conditions on the property, including mold, biohazards, infestations, or exposure risks. Where rust treatment chemicals or specialty cleaning agents are requested, the client acknowledges that such products may carry risks and must accept the associated OSHA-compliant disclosures prior to application.
6.4. Utilities and Environmental Conditions
Clients are responsible for ensuring that essential utilities—namely, running water, electricity, and adequate climate control (such as air conditioning or heating where applicable)—are available throughout the duration of the service. Interruptions in these utilities may limit our ability to complete the cleaning to professional standards and may result in rescheduling or service termination at the client’s expense.
6.5. Client Cooperation and Readiness
Clients are expected to prepare the service area to a reasonable degree before the cleaning team arrives. This includes removing excessive clutter, securing confidential or sensitive documents, and ensuring that the work environment is reasonably safe. Cooperation ensures that cleaning staff can perform efficiently, avoid damage, and meet expected service outcomes.

We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA wherever possible. These guidelines are internationally recognized standards for ensuring digital accessibility, and we use them as a benchmark in developing and maintaining our website.
1.2 Equal Access to Information and Services
Our goal is to provide equal access to information, services, and resources to all users, regardless of ability. This includes compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech recognition software, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
1.3 Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is not a one-time project but an ongoing priority. We regularly review our website, content, and policies to identify and address barriers to access. Updates and improvements are made as technology and accessibility standards evolve.
1.4 Inclusive Design Philosophy
We recognize that accessibility benefits everyone and not just those with disabilities. By adopting inclusive design practices, we aim to improve usability, clarity, and functionality for all visitors, including those with temporary impairments, situational limitations, or age-related challenges.
1.5 Testing and Evaluation
Our digital platforms undergo accessibility testing through both automated tools and manual reviews. We also welcome input from users with disabilities to help us identify areas needing improvement.
1.6 Employee Awareness and Training
Accessibility awareness is part of our broader service commitment. We ensure that our staff and partners are informed about accessibility best practices so that both digital and in-person interactions are as inclusive as possible.
1.7 Continuous Improvement
Because technology, laws, and user needs change over time, we are committed to ongoing adjustments to ensure our services remain inclusive. We treat accessibility as a living process that evolves with feedback, innovation, and advancements in standards.
2. MEASURES WE TAKE TO SUPPORT ACCESSIBILITY
2.1 Clear Navigation Structures
We use consistent menus, headings, and layouts to ensure that navigation is predictable and easy to follow.
2.2 Text Alternatives
We provide descriptive text alternatives (alt text) for non-text content such as images and icons so that assistive technologies can convey meaning accurately.
2.3 Readable and Understandable Content
We avoid unnecessary jargon and maintain plain, straightforward language to make our content accessible to a broad audience.
2.4 Keyboard-Friendly Navigation
Our website supports full navigation using a keyboard for users who cannot operate a mouse.
2.5 Sufficient Color Contrast
We apply adequate contrast ratios between text and background colors to ensure readability for users with visual impairments.
2.6 Accessible Forms and Booking Tools
Forms, booking calculators, and payment systems are designed to be compatible with screen readers and other assistive tools.
2.7 Multi-Browser and Multi-Device Testing
We test our website across multiple browsers and devices to identify and correct accessibility issues before they impact users.
3. SCOPE OF ACCESSIBILITY
Our accessibility efforts apply to the following:
3.1 Website and Core Features
The Island Dream Clean website, including booking and payment features powered by Stripe.
3.2 Service Information
Information about services, pricing, cancellation/refund policies, disclaimers, and client responsibilities.
3.3 Automated Tools
Automated tools such as calculators or scheduling modules.
3.4 Third-Party Platforms
Third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe for payments) are subject to their own accessibility compliance.
However, we carefully select providers with strong accessibility practices to ensure that accessibility standards are maintained as much as possible.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
To help us maintain an accessible experience and ensure our services are delivered effectively, clients are encouraged to:
4.1 Provide Accurate Booking Information
Submit complete and accurate information during the booking process, including property details, access instructions, and any relevant notes. Clear and accurate input ensures that our team understands client needs and can avoid confusion or miscommunication.
4.2 Communicate Accessibility Barriers
Promptly notify us if they encounter barriers, errors, or difficulties when using the Website (including issues related to navigation, screen reader functionality, forms, or booking tools). Feedback allows us to take corrective action and continuously improve accessibility features.
4.3 Request Accessibility Accommodations in Advance
Inform us in advance of any accessibility accommodations they or their household may require when services are performed on-site, such as:
I. Clear or unobstructed entry pathways for equipment and staff.
II. Alternative instructions for reaching upper floors or restricted areas.
III. Specific guidance for interacting with individuals with mobility, sensory, or cognitive impairments at the property.
4.4 Ensure Safe and Accessible Service Areas
Take reasonable steps to make sure service areas are safe and accessible, such as keeping walkways clear of hazards, ensuring sufficient lighting, and providing any necessary information about building accessibility (e.g., elevator access, locked entryways, or gated communities).
4.5 Provide Contact Availability
Remain reachable by phone, email, or text during the service window to assist in resolving any last-minute accessibility or entry-related issues.
4.6 Collaborate in Good Faith
Work cooperatively with our team to resolve accessibility challenges, whether digital (on the Website) or physical (on-site), recognizing that accessibility is a shared responsibility.
5. KNOWN LIMITATIONS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
5. Limitations of Accessibility
While we are committed to providing a website and services that meet recognized accessibility standards, there may be certain areas where full accessibility has not yet been achieved. These limitations may include, but are not limited to:
5.1 Third-Party Widgets and Plug-Ins
Some functions on our Website may rely on third-party tools, applications, or plug-ins (such as scheduling calculators, payment processors, or embedded media). Because these elements are not fully within our control, they may not always conform to accessibility best practices. We continuously evaluate these tools and, where possible, advocate for improvements or seek alternatives that better serve accessibility needs.
5.2 Formatting or Structural Issues
At times, certain formatting elements, heading structures, or layouts may cause difficulties for users relying on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or voice recognition software. These issues may occur during updates, content changes, or technical adjustments. We work actively to identify and correct such barriers as quickly as possible.
5.3 Legacy or Archived Documents
Some older materials, such as archived documents, downloadable PDFs, or historical policy files, may not be fully optimized for accessibility. This may include issues with text recognition, reading order, or missing alternative text for embedded graphics. Where feasible, we are committed to updating or replacing these documents upon request to ensure equal access.
5.4 Visual Media and Complex Graphics
Although we strive to provide alternative text and clear descriptions for all images and media, there may be instances where complex charts, decorative graphics, or promotional visuals are not fully described in a way that conveys the intended meaning to all users.
5.5 Continuous Improvement and Resource Constraints
Because accessibility is an ongoing process, occasional gaps may remain due to evolving standards, technological constraints, or the limitations of third-party integrations. These do not reflect a lack of commitment but the reality of balancing practical resources with continuous improvement.
5.6 Our Commitment to Addressing Limitations
We actively monitor these areas, explore technical solutions, and welcome feedback from clients, users, and accessibility experts. Any identified barriers will be prioritized and addressed in future updates wherever possible.
6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES REGARDING ACCESSIBILITY
6.1. Disclaimer of Warranty
While Island Dream Clean is deeply committed to providing an accessible and inclusive online environment, we cannot warrant or represent that our Website, digital services, or on-site accommodations will be fully accessible to every user at all times.
6.2. General Disclaimer
Accessibility may be impacted by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
6.2.1 Third-Party Services and Integrations.
Certain portions of the Website rely on third-party tools, applications, and services (for example, payment processing through Stripe, scheduling calculators, or plug-ins provided by external vendors). We do not have full control over the design, code, or accessibility features of these platforms, and therefore cannot guarantee their compliance with accessibility standards.
6.2.2 Browser and Device Variability.
Differences in operating systems, browsers, screen resolutions, or mobile device specifications may affect how accessibility features perform. Some configurations may result in partial or inconsistent functionality of accessibility tools.
6.2.3 Assistive Technology Differences.
Accessibility may vary depending on the type, version, and configuration of assistive technologies (such as screen readers, magnifiers, or voice recognition software) being used by the client. While we test compatibility across multiple platforms, not all combinations can be anticipated.
6.2.4 Technical Limitations
From time to time, technical malfunctions, software updates, or unforeseen coding conflicts may cause temporary disruptions that affect accessibility. These issues are typically resolved as quickly as possible, but interruptions cannot be entirely avoided.
6.2.5. Content Limitations
Certain legacy documents, forms, or embedded media files may not yet be fully optimized for accessibility. Although we actively work to improve and update such materials, some limitations.
By using our Website, you acknowledge that while we take reasonable steps to provide accessibility, absolute accessibility cannot be guaranteed.
